Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz Providing Digital Services to Citizens

Over 975,000 citizens have availed policing services from Khidmat Marakaz this year, Punjab Police Spokesperson
Under the directives of Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police’s Khidmat Marakaz continue to provide digital services to citizens. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, more than 975,000 citizens have availed police services through these centers this year. Among them, over 484,000 citizens obtained general police verification, while more than 224,000 acquired police character certificates. Additionally, over 116,000 citizens registered tenancy agreements, and more than 35,000 received medico-legal certificates. The spokesperson further said that as part of efforts to support vulnerable groups, more than 35,000 individuals were provided legal and social protection. Over 10,800 citizens availed vehicle verification services, while 23,000 registered lost documents, and 1,210 cases of crime were officially reported. More than 41,000 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and cases related to violence against women were also registered. Furthermore, 1,910 individuals completed employee registration under the ROPE (Registration of Private Employees) system, while over 1,000 citizens completed police verification for private employees. IG Punjab emphasized that Khidmat Marakaz is a flagship project for public service delivery, offering 24/7 facilities to citizens. He added that hundreds of thousands of citizens across Punjab, including Lahore, benefit from these centers every month, and services are continuously being upgraded based on citizen feedback.
