A video link meeting was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Additional IG Investigation Punjab, Azhar Akram. The meeting was attended via video link by DIG Investigation Lahore, SSP Investigation Lahore, SSP Admin, DSP Legal One Investigation Punjab, along with all SSPs Investigation, SSPs RIB, and DSP Legal. Additional IG Investigation Punjab, Azhar Akram, directed the officers to compile challans promptly and submit them to the courts. All officers must ensure the submission of challans within 17 days. The POLCOM records of all officers should be updated, and pending challans should be completed as soon as possible, with reports submitted accordingly. He further emphasized that there should be no delay in the investigation of cases involving women and children. Additional IG Investigation also said that the Anti-Rape Investigation and Trial Act 2021 must be strictly implemented, and officers should be provided training courses under the Anti-Rape Investigation and Trial Act 2021.
