IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded commendation certificates and cash prizes to 07 officers & personnel.
Punjab Police continues to appreciate and reward officers and personnel for their outstanding performance through certificates of appreciation and cash incentives. In this regard, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office to present certificates of appreciation and cash rewards to officers and personnel. Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, awarded commendation certificates and cash prizes to 07 officers and personnel. Punjab Police spokesman said that these officers and personnel ensured the arrest of criminals and proclaimed offenders with the help of Punjab Police IT applications and software. Those who received certificates of appreciation and cash rewards include Sub-Inspectors Shahid Mehmood, Manzoor Ahmad, ASI Jamshed Iqbal, Head Constable Iftikhar Ahmad, Constables Salman Younas, Faisal Abbas, and Lady Constable Sana Javed. Collectively, through Punjab Police IT applications, the officers and personnel successfully apprehended 73 proclaimed offenders and 09 court absconders. Stolen vehicles, mobile phones, and cash were also recovered from the possession of these criminals.IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar commended the officers and personnel for their exceptional performance and said that the process of encouraging outstanding officers and personnel would continue. He further emphasized that Punjab Emergency Eye and all other police applications, equipped with crime data and case histories, are proving to be valuable tools in the crackdown against criminals. IG Punjab directed that the use of all Punjab Police applications be ensured across the province, as these applications are significantly aiding in the identification of criminals.
