IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar promoted 75 traffic wardens to the post of Senior Traffic Warden,
On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of promotion of officers and personnel in Punjab Police is going on rapidly, in continuation of which a meeting of the Promotion Board was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Additional IGP Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry. Additional IGP Traffic Punjab Mirza Faran Baig and DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana were present in the meeting. Punjab Police spokesperson said that more than 136 cases of officers were considered for promotion from traffic wardens to the post of senior traffic warden. 75 traffic wardens who fulfilled the merit and rules and regulations were promoted to the post of senior traffic warden. IG Punjab congratulated the officers who were promoted to the post of senior traffic warden. IG Punjab instructed the officers to serve Pakistanis selflessly and protect Pakistan fearlessly. IG Punjab further said that the traffic police are the ambassadors of the police department on the roads and should behave with good manners with the public. The senior traffic wardens should discharge their new responsibilities with dedication and sincerity. Those who were promoted to the post of senior traffic wardens include 44 from Lahore, 09 from Faisalabad, 04 from Rawalpindi, 08 from Gujranwala and 10 from Multan.
