IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar: Committed to Providing the Best Medical Treatment for Police Employees' Special Children
This Year, Over 40 Million Rupees Released for the Treatment of Police Employees' Special Children in Various Districts, Including Lahore
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is determined to provide the best medical treatment for the special children of police employees. In this regard, over 40 million rupees have been released this year for the treatment of special children of police employees posted in various districts, including Lahore. Punjab Police spokesperson shared the details, that this year, 1.32 million rupees have been given for 8 children undergoing cochlear implant surgeries. A sum of 819,000 rupees has been provided for the treatment of 11 children suffering from various hearing disorders. A total of 7.155 million rupees have been allocated for 159 children affected by thalassemia, with a monthly allowance of 15,000 rupees for each child. For 615 children suffering from cerebral palsy, a monthly allowance of 10,000 rupees is being provided, and similarly, over 4 million rupees have been provided for the treatment of 22 children suffering from various serious diseases. A total of 4.05 million rupees has been allocated for 7 children suffering from cancer and bone marrow transplant. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that 1.245 million rupees have been released for 8 children undergoing major heart and kidney surgeries.
IG Punjab emphasized that robust measures are ongoing for the treatment and rehabilitation of the special children of police employees. The welfare initiatives aim to make the lives of police employees' special children more easier and dignified.
