Closing Ceremony of the 9th Batch of Punjab Police Internship Program Held at Central Police Office
The closing ceremony of the 9th batch of the Punjab Police Internship Program was held at the Central Police Office. A total of 34 students from GC University participated in the internship program. Punjab Police spokesperson provided details, stating that students from the Chemistry Department and Forensic Science fields were divided into five groups for the internship. They were attached to various branches of Punjab Police for five weeks. The students completed their internships in the Special Branch, CTD, Safe Cities Authority, Investigation, and IT branches. In the closing ceremony, the students presented reports based on their experiences during the internship. Additional IG Training Punjab, Tariq Rustam Chohan, DIG Training Muneer Ahmad Zia Rao, and AIG Training Hassan Iqbal distributed certificates among the students.
On this occasion, Additional IG Training Tariq Rustam Chohan said that experience gained during the internship would be beneficial for the students' career development. He emphasized that providing internship opportunities accelerates the culture of education and research. The students expressed their gratitude to IG Punjab for giving them the opportunity to closely observe police operations and field challenges. The event was attended by GC University's Director of the Institute of Chemical Sciences, Professor Aziz-ur-Rehman, Associate Professor of Chemistry Dr. Shazia Khurshid, and Dr. Shaista.
