Proclaimed Offender Arrested at Sialkot Airport While Attempting to Flee Abroad
Punjab Police Special Operations Cell achieved another major success by arresting a proclaimed offender wanted in a firing case while he was attempting to flee abroad. Punjab Police spokesperson said that the proclaimed offender's name had been included in the PNIL list. The offender, Umar (alias Umair), had injured a citizen with a firearm in 2022, and this year as well, he fired at and injured another citizen. The Special Operations Cell arrested the culprit at Sialkot Airport while he was attempting to escape abroad. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has appreciated the RPO and CPO of Gujranwala for the successful arrest.
