Punjab Police continues crackdown against accused involved in electricity and cattle theft.

1395 cases of electricity theft registered across the province in the past week, Punjab Police spokesperson

On the instructions of the Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar police is continuing crackdown against people involved in electricity and cattle theft. Giving details, the Punjab Police spokesperson said that during the past one week, 1395 cases of electricity theft were registered across the province and 444 accused involved in electricity theft were arrested. Similarly, during the past one week, 02 gangs involved in cattle theft were arrested and 30 cattle were recovered from the possession of the arrested criminals. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed the officers to continue to take action indiscriminately in cases of electricity and cattle theft across the province.
