Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is firmly committed to the best health welfare of police force and their families, in continuation of which he has released another Rs. 3.325 million for the treatment of police employees and their families. Punjab Police spokesperson, while giving details, said that funds of Rs. 06 lakh were released to ASI Ali Raza for kidney treatment and Rs. 05 lakh to Ghazi Constable Inam Ali for treatment. Constables Muhammad Naeem, Tanveer Hussain and Salim Ullah were given Rs. 250,000 each for treatment. Retired Officer Rafiq Hassan and Sub-Inspector Naeem Ullah were given Rs. 02 lakh each for treatment. ASI Ahsan Ullah, Head Constable Muhammad Afzal, Constable Khawar Maqbool, SP Farooq Ahmed Bhutta, Constable Muhammad Zulfiqar and Naib Qasid Iqra Azeem were released with Rs. 100,000 each for treatment. Inspector Muhammad Kashif Yousaf, Retired Head Constable Abdul Hameed, Constables Ahsan Khan, Muhammad Inayat and Muhammad Usman Butt were given Rs. 75,000 each for treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the department is also providing the best medical facilities to the employees under inked MOUs with various institutions.
