LAHORE : Punjab Police have intensified their crackdown on kite flying, arresting 2,030 individuals across the province for violating the Anti-Kite Flying Act this year. A total of 1,993 cases were registered against offenders. During the operations, authorities seized 420,266 kites and 14,139 spools of kite string, while 1,731 case challans were submitted to courts. Last year, law enforcement took even more stringent action, with 12,525 arrests and 11,866 cases registered across Punjab, highlighting the ongoing efforts to curb the dangerous activity.
