IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s Mission to Provide homes to Families of Police Martyrs
IG Punjab provides own residential home to the family of another police martyr who laid down his life in the line of duty.
The family of Martyr Constable Muhammad Bilal was provided a house worth 13.5 million rupees.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, continues his mission to provide own residential homes to the families of police martyrs. In this regard, IG Punjab has provided a house to the family of a police officer who was martyred in the line of duty. The family of Martyr Constable Muhammad Bilal has been given a house worth 13.5 million rupees. Spokesperson for Punjab Police said that the house was purchased according to the family's preference in Zafar Colony, Muridke. Constable Muhammad Bilal sacrificed his life in 2024 during a patrol when he was shot by robbers. His family consists of his wife and a daughter. On the special efforts of IG Punjab, the Government of Punjab released funds for the martyr’s family to purchase the house. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, paid tribute to the unparalleled sacrifice of Constable Muhammad Bilal, praising his dedication to duty, which led him to embrace martyrdom without any concern for his own life.
