Departmental promotions continue in Punjab Police.
On the directions of IG Punjab, 122 constables of Telecommunication Punjab have been promoted to the post of Head Constables, Spokesperson Punjab Police
On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of promotion of officers and personnel is ongoing, in which 122 constables of Telecommunication Punjab have been promoted to the post of head constables and a ceremony to assign ranks to the promoted head constables was held at Qurban Lines Lahore. SSP Telecommunication Punjab Captain (retd) Muhammad Ali Zia assigned new ranks to the promoted personnel. The ceremony was attended by the promoted personnel and their families.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the promoted head constables of telecommunications and their families. He said that promotions are ongoing in all field formations on the basis of merit, seniority, and transparency. An advance schedule and service structure regarding promotion in all units of Punjab Police have been formulated. SSP Telecommunication said that capable and hard-working police personnel are being encouraged at all levels. Departmental promotion according to merit and seniority is the fundamental right of every officer and official.
