8th National Mass Wrestling Championship 2025: Police Athletes Won 03 Medals
Police athletes won 03 medals in the 8th National Mass Wrestling Championship 2025. 18 teams from across the country participated in the mass wrestling event. Punjab Police spokesperson said that police athletes won 01 gold and 02 bronze medals. Inspector Iram Khanum won the gold medal in the master category. Similarly, Tanveer Wahla won the bronze medal in the 105 kg category, while Muniba Imtiaz won the bronze medal in the 75 kg category.
IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar congratulated the police athletes who brought glory to the department by winning medals in the Mass Wrestling Championship. IGP Punjab said that the sports teams of Punjab Police are continuously achieving successes at the national and provincial levels. Players who continuously win medals in national games are the pride of Punjab Police. Dr Usman Anwar further said that vigorous measures will continue to encourage and support police athletes. Director General of the Pakistan Police Sports Board Additional IG Finance Imran Irshad and Chief Sports Officer Athar Ismail also praised and encouraged the winning athletes.
