IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar: Committed to providing the best treatment to Ghazi personnel injured in the line of duty
Another Rs. 3.35 million rupees were released to pay medical expenses to injured personnel from various districts.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to providing the best treatment to Ghazi personnel injured in the line of duty, in continuation of which, an additional Rs. 3.35 million rupees has been released to pay medical expenses to injured personnel from various districts including Lahore. While giving details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that Rs. 1.5 million has been given to injured constable Shahzad Ahmed for medical expenses. Injured ASI Fahad Rasheed, injured Constable Umair Akram and injured Constable Moin Rafiq were each given Rs. 0.5 million rupees for medical expenses. Injured Constable Muhammad Abrar was given Rs. 2.5 lakh rupees for medical expenses. Injured Constable Kashif Raza was given Rs. 1 lakh for medical expenses. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that the officers and personnel were injured during various incidents in the line of duty. The Compensation Award Committee, chaired by Additional IG Welfare Imran Irshad, approved the release of funds. IG Punjab said that the best treatment and early rehabilitation of police injured official is the top priority and all possible cooperation will continue. Dr. Usman Anwar, while instructing the supervisory officers, said that no effort should be spared for the best health welfare of veteran personnel.
