Punjab Police Committed to Health and Welfare of its Force and their Families
IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar Approves Additional Funds of 32,70,000 Rupees for Medical Treatment of Employees and Their Families Affected by Serious Illnesses, Punjab Police Spokesperson
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, remains committed to the health and welfare of his force and their families. In line with this commitment, additional funds amounting to 32,70,000 rupees have been released for the treatment of employees and their families suffering from serious illnesses. The spokesperson for Punjab Police shared the details, stating that ASI Ghulam Shabbir Abbas and Constable Munawar Hussain have been granted 5 lakh rupees each for medical treatment. Constable Rashid Farooq and Constable Tariq Mehmood have been provided with a total of 06 lakh 20 thousand rupees for their treatment. Sub-Inspector Raees Shahzad and Constable Obaid Ullah have been allocated 2.5 lakh rupees each for medical expenses. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Imran, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ashraf, retired ASI Masood Khan and Driver Constable Muhammad Ramzan have been allocated 01 lakh rupees each for their treatment. Retired Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ali, ASI Amjad Ali, and the widow of the late ASI Muhammad Khalid have been provided with a total of 2 lakh rupees for medical treatment. The spokesperson further shared that IG Punjab approved the release of these funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IGP Punjab Dr Usman Anwar said that modern healthcare facilities are being provided to employees under memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with various institutions.
