IG Punjab has released another 40 lakh 50 thousand rupees for the medical expenses of injured personnel serving in Lahore and various districts.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is firmly committed to the best treatment for Ghazi personnel injured during duty. In continuation of this effort, an additional 40 lakh 50 thousand rupees have been released for the medical expenses of injured personnel in Lahore and various districts. Punjab Police spokesperson provided details, stating that injured Constable Azmat Ali has been given 15 lakh rupees for medical expenses. Injured ASI Muhammad Asim and ASI Nasir Bajwa have been given 10 lakh rupees each for medical expenses, while injured Constable Taimoor Riaz has been given 3 lakh 50 thousand rupees for medical expenses. Injured Head Constable Salamat Ali and injured Constable Muhammad Maqsood have been given 1 lakh rupees each for medical expenses. It is important to note that the police officers and personnel were injured during various incidents while protecting the lives and property of citizens. Punjab Police spokesperson also mentioned that under the chairmanship of Additional IG Welfare Imran Irshad, the Compensation Award Committee approved the release of the funds. IG Punjab said that providing the best treatment and the swift rehabilitation of these brave Ghazis remains a top priority, and full cooperation will continue in this regard. Supervisory officers must leave no stone unturned in ensuring the best health and welfare of the Ghazi personnel.
