Punjab Police Determined to Arrest Dangerous Fugitive Criminals Involved in Anti-National Activities and Serious Crimes

IG Punjab Sends Recommendations for Head Money on 70 Fugitives Included in Red and Black Books to Punjab Home Department, Says Punjab Police Spokesperson

Punjab Police is determined to arrest dangerous fugitive criminals involved in anti-national activities and serious crimes. In this regard, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has sent recommendations for head money on 70 fugitives included in the Red and Black Books to the Punjab Home Department. A spokesperson for Punjab Police shared the details, stating that 30 fugitives in the CTD Red Book and 40 fugitives in the Punjab Police Black Book are included. Upon approval of the recommendations, the Home Department will issue an official notification for the head money of these fugitives. The total head money for the 70 fugitives has been set at 16 crore 52 lakh rupees, with 10 crore 50 lakh rupees for those in the Red Book and 6 crore 2 lakh rupees for those in the Black Book. These fugitives are wanted by Punjab Police and CTD for terrorism, murder, attempted murder, rape, kidnapping for ransom, and other serious crimes.

The head money for fugitive Obaid ur Rehman is set at 1 crore 40 lakh rupees, for Musa at 1 crore 20 lakh rupees, and for Yaqoob at 90 lakh rupees. The head money for criminals Imran Sattar, Masood Azhar, and Munir Hussain has been set at 70 lakh rupees each. For Abdul Rehman Mirza, Samiullah, and Ameen, the head money is set at 60 lakh rupees each. The head money for Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Safdar (Mamma), Hafiz Suleman, and Rizwan Ali is set at 40 lakh rupees each. Similarly, the head money for Baba Mansoor, Abid, Akram (Tipu), Abdul Jabbar (Chhota Engineer), Muhammad Azam, and Muhammad Ejaz (Ejaz Alaqi) has been set at 25 lakh rupees each. The head money for Abdul Majid Rashid, Tanveer Hussain, Imran Zaidi, Amjad Abbas, Bunyad Hussain, Tanveer Ahmad, and Inayat Ullah Shah is also set at 25 lakh rupees each. 

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has directed that the arrest of the criminals included in the Red and Black Books be ensured at all costs. He emphasized that intelligence-based operations should be accelerated for the arrest of these criminals. Fugitive criminals involved in terrorism and other serious crimes are not deserving of any leniency. Dr. Usman Anwar further stated that police checkpoints are a solid wall against external terrorists and anti-social elements.
