IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar: Committed to providing the best health facilities to Ghazi personnel of the police force.
Another Rs. 3.25 million has been released to pay for the medical expenses of injured personnel from various districts including Lahore.
 
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed and ensuring the best treatment to Ghazi personnel injured in the line of duty, in continuation of which another Rs. 3.25 million has been released to pay for the medical expenses of injured personnel from various districts including Lahore. While giving details, spokesperson of Punjab Police said that Rs. 1.5 million was given to the injured Constable Muhammad Asim for medical expenses. Rs. 0.5 million was released to the injured ASI Muhammad Murshid and Constable Amir Farooq for medical expenses. Injured ASI Abdul Ghafoor and Constable Muhammad Ashfaq were given Rs. 03 lakh each for medical expenses. Injured Constable Bilal Arshad was given Rs. 150,000 for medical expenses. Spokesperson of Punjab Police further said that the officers and personnel were injured during various incidents in the line of duty. The Compensation Award Committee chaired by Additional IG Welfare Imran Irshad approved the release of funds. IG Punjab said that the best treatment and early rehabilitation of police veterans is the top priority and all possible cooperation will continue. Dr. Usman Anwar, while instructing the supervisory officers, said that they should spare no effort for the best health welfare of the ghazi personnel.
