Punjab Police firmly committed for the best health welfare of its force and their families

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to the health welfare of the police force and their families, in continuation of which he has released another Rs 4 million 80 thousand for the treatment of employees suffering from serious diseases and their families. Punjab Police Spokesperson said that Rs 1 million each was released for cancer treatment to Sub-Inspector Waheed Akhtar and Rs 1 million each for kidney transplant to Constable Muhammad Farooq. Rs 5 million was released for treatment to Constable Imran Khan and Senior Traffic Warden Muhammad Arif. Each person was given a total of Rs. 310,000 for treatment to Head Constable Qamar Ahmed and Constable Farrukh Nawaz. DSP Mustafa Kamal, ASI Tahir Nazir and Constable Aamir Bashir were given Rs. 100,000 each for treatment. Assistant Khalid Mahmood and Constable Tariq Mahmood were given Rs. 100,000 each for treatment. ASI Altaf Hussain, retired Constable Sittar Muhammad, Naib Qasid Abdul Latif and DEO Muhammad Atiq were given a total of Rs. 145,000 for treatment. Data Entry Operator Muhammad Atiq and Driver Head Constable Muhammad Tahir were given a total of Rs. 125,000 for treatment. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that IG Punjab has approved the release of funds after the scrutiny of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that they are also providing modern medical facilities to employees through MOUs with various institutions.
