IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s Directive: Weekly General Parade Held Across the Province, Including Lahore.
Senior Police Officers Inspected the Parade, Parade Troops Presented the Salute,
Following the directive of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a weekly general parade was held across the province, including Lahore. Senior police officers inspected the parade, while the parade units presented a salute. Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, SPU, Ladies Police, OCUs, Investigation Wing and Operations Wing officers and personnel participated in the general parade. Senior officers also checked the turnout of the officers and personnel participating in the parade. The well-disciplined units of the personnel participating in the parade marched past. Ladies police personnel also participated in the general parade. As per the directive of IG Punjab, regular general parades are being held every Monday across the province, while district officers are also inspecting the Kot, Motor Transport Wing, various stores, uniform depots, and other departments. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the purpose of the general parade is to keep the personnel alert and maintain an atmosphere of discipline, unity and brotherhood among them. He further said that a parade is the best demonstration of any force’s discipline. The general parade will help maintain the fitness of officers and personnel, while also showcasing the history, heritage, and traditions of the police force.
