In yet another commendable initiative for the health welfare of police employees, Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar held a ceremony for signing an MOU with the officials of the renowned private hospital (Kishwar Sultana Hospital) at the Central Police Office. CEO Dr. Zeeshan Ali, MD Malik Jameel Ahmad, and Dr. Shayan Arshad were part of the delegation. The spokesperson for Punjab Police provided details, stating that IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and CEO of the private hospital Dr. Zeeshan Ali signed the MOU. Under the MOU, medical treatment facilities will be provided to police martyrs' families and serving police employees at discounted rates of up to 50%. Families of police martyrs will receive a 50% discount on medical treatment and lab tests. IG Punjab said that serving police employees will receive a 40% discount on treatment for various diseases and lab tests, a 25% discount on specialist doctor consultations, and a 10% discount on all medications, medical equipment, and other items at the pharmacy. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar thanked the officials of the private hospital for their cooperation in supporting the health welfare of police employees. On this occasion, CEO Dr. Zeeshan Ali said that in recognition of the unparalleled services and sacrifices of police employees, they will provide all possible medical support. The ceremony was attended by Additional IG Welfare and Finance, Imran Irshad; DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salah-ud-din; DIG IAB Amin Bukhari; AIG Finance Nida Umar Chatha; and AIG Welfare Ammara Sherazi, among other senior officers.
