Punjab Police Firmly Committed for the best Health Welfare of its Force and their Families
IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has approved the release of an additional fund of 3 million rupees for the treatment of employees suffering from severe illnesses and their families.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has released an additional fund of 3 million rupees for the treatment of employees suffering from severe illnesses and their families. The spokesperson for Punjab Police shared that funds were released as follows: retired Sub-Inspector Zulfiqar Haider and the widow of Constable Abdul Waheed were each provided with 250,000 rupees for medical treatment, while Constable Sharyar, who requires major surgery and Constable Wasim Ahmed, whose son requires treatment, were each provided with 250,000 rupees. Similarly, Inspector Ghulam Rasool and retired driver Constable Muhammad Feroze were each allocated 200,000 rupees for treatment. Inspector Babar Ali, retired Inspector Akbar Hussain, and Constable Hafiz Muhammad Ali were each given 100,000 rupees for their treatment and that of their families.
The spokesperson further shared that Junior Clerk Waqas Muhammad, Constable Hamid Ali and retired Head Constable Aftab Ahmad were each allocated 100,000 rupees for medical treatment. ASI Muhammad Ali, Constable Zain Aslam, Constable Amir Alam, and Sanitary Worker Irfan Masih were each granted 100,000 rupees for treatment. Additionally, ASI Muhammad Yaseen, Constable Javed Iqbal and Senior Clerk Muhammad Hafeez were collectively granted 205,000 rupees for medical treatment, while the wife of martyr Constable Muhammad Anwar and Constable Afraz Khan, along with Sanitary Worker Muhammad Asif, were allocated a total of 200,000 rupees for treatment. ASI Adil Ahmad, ASI Muhammad Jamshed, Head Constable Zahir Badshah, and Dak Runner Muhammad Ahmed were collectively provided 190,000 rupees for medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of these funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IGP Punjab said that, under MOUs with various institutions, employees are also being provided with modern medical facilities for their treatment.
