18 ASPs, including 08 women, part of the training officers
The under training ASsP from the 51st Common conducted a study visit to the Central Police Office. The training officers included 18 ASPs, 08 of whom were women. Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar inquired about the ongoing training sessions for the young ASPs. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar provided the ASPs with an awareness of the challenges in practical policing, explaining that Punjab Police is not only combating crime but also serving the public through community policing, while projects like Tahaffuz Markaz, Misaaq Centers, Tahafuz Manzil and Foster Homes are providing assistance and guidance to vulnerable communities.
Punjab Police spokesperson shared that the ASPs are receiving a one-month training at the Elite Police Training School, and the trainees will spend one week under training with Punjab Police. On the first day of training, the officers spent their time at the Central Police Office, where DIG Headquarters Zeeshan Asghar, DIG Telecommunication Imran Ahmad, and other officers delivered lectures. The spokesperson further said that the trainees will receive training over the next five days on Lahore Police's operations, investigations, and other departments. The trainees also asked various questions regarding different policing matters and professional challenges.
