37 students from Government College University included in the 9th batch of the student internship
The inaugural ceremony of the 9th batch of Punjab Police Internship program was held at the Central Police Office. According to the details, 37 students from Government College University are part of the 9th batch of the student internship. The batch includes students from the Department of Chemistry and Forensic Science. AIG Training Hassan Iqbal briefed the students about the features of the internship program and informed them that the students will be attached in groups with various field formations for 06 weeks. The students will be made aware of field policing, crime control, and public service delivery projects. He further explained that the students will be given complete awareness about policing matters in Information Technology, CTD, Special Branch, Safe Cities Authority, and Investigation. The students will also present their reports based on observations gained from the internship. He mentioned that Punjab Police is promoting direct interaction with students in the fields of education and research, and the student internship will provide the students with proper guidance for their career development.
