IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's Directive: Weekly General Parade Held across the Province Including Lahore

Under the directive of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a weekly general parade was held across the province, including Lahore. Senior police officers inspected the parade, and the parade troops presented their salute. In the general parade participants from Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, Special Protection Unit (SPU), Ladies Police, OCUs, Investigation Wing, and Operation Wing of police stations. Senior officers also checked the turnout of the officers and personnel participating in the parade. The well-dressed contingents of personnel participating in the general parade marched past. Female personnel also took part in the general parade. Under the guidance of IG Punjab, regular general parades are being held every Monday across the province, and district officers are also inspecting various sectors, including the Kot, Motor Transport Wing, Stores, Uniform Depot, and other branches. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the purpose of the general parade is to keep the personnel alert and maintain an atmosphere of discipline, unity, and brotherhood. He further added that the parade is an excellent display of the discipline of any force. The general parade helps maintain the fitness of officers and personnel, while also showcasing the history, legacy, and traditions of the police force.
