Punjab Police Committed to Providing best medical Treatment for Injured Personnel During Protection of Citizens’ Lives and Properties
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released funds amounting to 3.65 million rupees for the medical expenses of injured personnel from Lahore and various districts.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to providing best medical treatment for officers injured while protecting the lives and properties of citizens. In this regard, IG Punjab has released 3.65 million rupees in funds for the medical expenses of injured personnel from Lahore and various other districts. Spokesperson for Punjab Police shared that 1.5 million rupees have been given for the medical expenses of injured Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ejaz, while 500,000 rupees each have been allocated for injured Sub-Inspector Tahir Saleem and Constable Muhammad Asif. He further mentioned that 300,000 rupees have been given for the medical expenses of injured Sub-Inspector Khurram Shehzad. Similarly, 200,000 rupees each have been allocated for the medical expenses of injured Head Constable Sajjad Akhtar and Constable Waseem Abbas. Constables Hamza Asif, Rashid Ali, and Kashif Ali have been provided 150,000 rupees each for medical expenses. Spokesperson of Punjab Police said that funds have been released for the medical expenses of officers and personnel who were injured in various incidents while performing their duties. The release of funds was approved by the Compensation Award Committee, chaired by Additional IG Welfare Imran Irshad. IG Punjab said that providing the best treatment and ensuring the swift recovery of injured police personnel is a top priority, and all possible cooperation will continue. He directed the supervisory officers to leave no stone unturned in ensuring the best health and welfare for the injured personnel.
