IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar committed to the health and welfare of police employees’ children
Additional funds of Rs. 2.7 million released for the treatment of children with severe illnesses from various districts.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, remains actively engaged in ensuring the best health welfare for the children of police employees. In continuation of these efforts, an additional Rs. 2.7 million has been allocated for the treatment of children suffering from severe illnesses in various districts.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Constable Abdul Rehman from Lahore was granted Rs. 1.96 million for the treatment of his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter’s hearing issues. Lady Sub-Inspector Mahnoor, Head Constable Muhammad Babar, and Constable Shahid Hussain were each given Rs. 250,000 for the treatment of their children. ASI Muhammad Sawar Khan from Mianwali received Rs. 200,000 for the treatment of his one-and-a-half-year-old son. Constable Yawar Hussain from Sahiwal was allocated Rs. 100,000 for the cardiac treatment of his two-year-old daughter. Driver Constable Parvez Akhtar from Lahore received Rs. 75,000 for his daughter’s medical care. Additionally, Driver Head Constable Ihsan Ullah and Constable Muhammad Bilal were jointly granted Rs. 130,000 for the treatment of their sons.
The IG Punjab approved these funds after scrutiny and approval by the Welfare Management Committee. He directed officers to continue taking measures to enhance the health welfare of police employees through the effective utilisation of available resources.
