Punjab Police firmly committed to the Health Welfare of its Force and Their Families.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released over 2.9 million rupees in funds for the treatment of employees and their families suffering from serious diseases, Punjab Police Spokesperson.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to the best health welfare of the police force and their families. In line with this, over 2.9 million rupees have been released for the treatment of employees and their families suffering from serious diseases. According to the details, Constable Muhammad Tauseef has been granted 500,000 rupees for knee treatment. The wife of Shaheed Constable Muhammad Riaz has been granted 250,000 rupees for cancer treatment. Similarly, ASI Irshad Ahmad has been granted 290,000 rupees for major surgery, while Constable Yasir Ali has been granted 200,000 rupees for cancer treatment. ASI Muhammad Yaqoob has been granted 140,000 rupees for liver treatment, while Constables Tanveer Altaf and Hafiz Faqeer Muhammad have been granted 100,000 rupees each for medical treatment. Additionally, ASI Muhammad Saeed, Constables Muhammad Sadiq, and Muhammad Imran have each been granted 100,000 rupees for medical treatment. Retired DSP Muhammad Ashraf, Sub-Inspector Ansar Ayub, and Head Constable Khurram Shehzad have each been granted 100,000 rupees for medical treatment, while Sub-Inspector Ghulam Habib, ASI Mudassar Ayub, Sanitary Worker Irfan Masih, Naib Qasid Iqraar Hussain, and Head Constable Muhammad Hayat have been granted a total of 370,000 rupees for medical treatment. Similarly, Constables Asad Mehmood, Abdul Rauf, Shah Nawaz Sharjeel, Corporal Tabish Arif Khan, and Washerman Ali Raza have been granted a total of 373,000 rupees for their own and their families' medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of these funds following the scrutiny of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IGP Punjab said that modern medical facilities are also being provided to police employees under MOUs with various health institutions.
