Welfare of Families of Police Martyrs Remains Top Priority in 2025 as well, Provision of Homes to families Continues

In 2025, the best possible welfare of families of police martyrs continues to be the top priority, and the provision of homes is ongoing. Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has provided a house worth 13.5 million rupees to the family of Martyr Constable Muhammad Adnan of Lahore Dolphin Squad.
According to the details, the family of the martyr was provided with a house of their choice in a private housing scheme in Lahore. Constable Muhammad Adnan laid down his life last year while protecting the lives and properties of citizens during an encounter with armed robbers. The martyr's family includes his wife and one daughter. On the special initiative of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab government released funds for the martyr's family to purchase the house. Dr. Usman Anwar, paying rich tribute to the unparalleled sacrifice of Constable Muhammad Adnan. IGP Punjab said that the brave constable sacrificed his life while performing his duties without regard for his own safety. He further mentioned that last year, the Punjab government approved the purchase of houses for 27 families of police martyrs, while funds amounting to 36 million rupees were released for the construction of houses and allocation of 170 plots for the families of martyrs who were martyred before 2017. IG Punjab further said that Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifices of its brave martyrs. Punjab Police is a force that holds the legacy of over 1,650 brave martyrs like Constable Muhammad Adnan.
