Central Police Office: Ceremony Held in Honour of Officers Promoted from Senior Clerk to Assistant

A ceremony was held at the Central Police Office Punjab Lahore in honour of officers promoted from Senior Clerk to Assistant. Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the assistants on their promotion and expressed best wishes for their future. He said that hardworking, capable, and experienced office staff hold the status of the pillars of the department.
In Punjab Police, 54 senior clerks who met the merit criteria were promoted to the position of Assistant, out of 123 vacant assistant positions. IG Punjab said that the remaining 69 assistant positions will also be filled according to merit and rules, ensuring promotions for employees who qualify. He further added that the promotion of police employees and the service structure policy are being framed with the consultation and consent of the employees. The ceremony was attended by Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Establishment One Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Establishment Two Captain (Retd) Liaquat Ali Malik, SSP Operations Lahore Taswar Iqbal, and AIG Admin Hamza Amanullah, along with other officers.
