Central Police Office: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar chaired an important Meeting

IG Punjab Reviews Targets for the Arrest of Dangerous Fugitives Involved in Serious Crimes

An important meeting was held at the Central Police Office Lahore, presided over by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar. The meeting reviewed the targets for the arrest of dangerous fugitives involved in serious crimes. Additional IG Investigation Punjab Azhar Akram, DIG Operations Waqas Nazir, AIG Operations, AIG Monitoring, and other senior officers were also present at the meeting. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that measures be accelerated to crackdown on headmoney of fugitive criminals, emphasizing that the arrest of criminals listed in the "Top Ten" fugitive lists should be ensured. Additionally, coordination with law enforcement agencies such as the FIA and Interpol should be increased for the arrest of fugitives included in the "Red Book."  He further said that a joint action plan should be implemented by the Investigation, Operations Wings, and Organized Crime Unit to arrest fugitives included in the "Black Book," while intelligence-based operations against dangerous criminals involved in serious crimes should continue. He also said that teams successfully arresting dangerous fugitives involved in serious crimes would be rewarded.
