IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's Directive, Police Pension Committee Meeting Held

AIG Finance SSP Dr. Nida Omar Chatha Presides Over the Meeting

Pending Pension Cases of Police Employees Discussed

Following the directive of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, a meeting of the Police Pension Committee was held at the Central Police Office, presided over by AIG Finance SSP Dr. Nida Omar Chatha. Spokesperson of Punjab Police shared that assistant directors from all units of Punjab Police participated in the meeting, where the pending pension cases of police employees were reviewed. A total of 336 pension cases of police employees were completed, and instructions were issued to forward them to the AG office for further action.

IG Punjab emphasized that objections in pending pension cases should be resolved promptly to complete the process as soon as possible and that the preparation of pension cases should begin at least three months before the retirement date. On this occasion, AIG Finance SSP Dr. Nida Omar Chatha informed that 80% of the pending pension cases have already been completed.
