LAHORE. Iqbal Town police claimed to have arrested the prime suspect involved in a stabbing incident that left two women injured. The incident oc- curred in Iqbal Town, where two women, Sumera and her friend Sonia, were attacked with a knife over a minor dispute. The attack prompted DIG Investigation Zeeshan Asghar to take immediate notice, directing swift action to apprehend the suspect. Acting on these orders, the investigation team successfully arrested the accused, identified as Nabeel. The weapon used in the attack, a knife, has been recovered from the suspect. Police officials confirmed that further investigation into the case is underway. The injured women were provided medical assistance and are reported to be in stable condition. Meanwhile, Naulakha police have arrested a two-member pickpocket gang active in crowded areas across the city. Acting on a tip-off, the police apprehended the suspects, identified as Sameer and Atif, during a raid. Police said the suspects were involved in stealing cash and mobile phones from parked vehicles and pickpocketing in busy areas, including Nolakha Railway Station, bus terminals, markets, and bazaars.
