Punjab Police ensuring best welfare and continues the provision of Homes to the Families of its Brave Martyrs.
IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar gave a house worth 13.5 million rupees to the family of Martyr Constable Shafique Ahmed from Rahim Yar Khan: Spokesperson Punjab Police.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar continues the initiative of providing homes to the families of brave police martyrs. In this regard, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has given a house worth 13.5 million rupees to the family of martyr Constable Shafique Ahmed from Rahim Yar Khan. The house was purchased on the family’s will in the Rafique Qamar Road area of Bahawalpur. Constable Shafique Ahmed was martyred in a gunfight with robbers in June of this year. The martyr's family includes his wife, two sons, and two daughters. On the special initiative of IG Punjab, the Punjab government released funds for the martyr's family's house. Dr. Usman Anwar, while paying rich tribute to the supreme sacrifice of martyr Constable Shafique Ahmad, said that Constable Shafique Ahmed laid down his life while performing his duties without caring for his own safety. He further said that Punjab Police is a force that upholds the legacy of over 1650 brave martyrs like Constable Shafique Ahmad.
