TOBA TEK SINGH:Jaranwala City police arrested two robbers on Sunday after an encounter near the Ravi Milk Plant on Lahore Road. Police said five dacoits had picketed the road to loot motorists and motorcyclists. When the police challenged them, an exchange of gunfire ensued. Two of the suspects, identified as Ali Haider and Faizan, were injured, while three others fled. The injured suspects, who were reportedly involved in multiple robberies, were shifted to the Jaranwala THQ Hospital.Police claimed the injuries were caused by bullets fired by their accomplices.
