IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Continues the Provision of Homes to Families of Police Martyrs
IG Punjab has provided a home to another police martyr’s family who sacrificed his life in the line of duty.
Under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of providing homes to the families of police martyrs continues. In this regard, the family of martyr Constable Muhammad Shahzad from Multan has been provided a house worth 1.35 million rupees. Punjab Police spokesperson shared that a house was purchased for the martyr’s family in their preferred area, Mohalla Jalalabad, Tehsil Jahanian, Khanewal. Constable Muhammad Shahzad embraced martyrdom last year in September during a raid on criminals when he was caught in crossfire. The martyr is survived by his wife and one daughter. On the special initiative of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Government of Punjab released the funds for the martyr’s family to purchase the house. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to the immortal sacrifice of Constable Muhammad Shahzad, stating that he laid down his life while fulfilling his duties without any regard for his own safety. Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifices of its brave martyrs, and Punjab Police is the custodian of over 1,650 brave martyrs like Constable Muhammad Shahzad.
