IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar firmly committed for the Best Health Welfare of Police Employees.

Under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is ensuring strong commitment to the health welfare of police employees and their families. In this regard, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released 20 lakh rupees for the treatment expenses of police employees serving in Lahore and various other districts. According to the details, Sub-Inspector Naveed Iqbal from Rawalpindi has been granted 10 lakh rupees for a bone marrow transplant, Punjab Highway Patrol's employee Mubashir Shehzad has been provided 4 lakh rupees for treatment of his leg, retired Sub-Inspector Hassan Muhammad and Head Constable Kamran Nasir from Lahore Police have been given 1 lakh rupees each for their medical expenses. Inspector Manzoor Ahmad and Sub-Inspector Naseem Aslam Butt have been provided 1 lakh rupees each for the treatment of various ailments. Driver Constable Liaqat Ali and Constable Muhammad Sabir Bilal have also received 1 lakh rupees each for the treatment of different diseases. The funds were released after scrutiny by the Welfare Management Committee. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the best welfare for police employees and their families is being ensured. He directed the Regional Police Officers (RPOs) and District Police Officers (DPOs) to take effective steps for the health welfare of their subordinates.
