Punjab Police fully active for the best Welfare of Families of its martyrs.
IG Punjab Provided a Home to the Family of another Police Officer Who embraced Martyrdom in the Line of Duty.
Under the guidance of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is actively working for the welfare of the families of its martyrs. In this regard, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has provided a house to the family of another police officer who attained martyrdom in the line of duty. The family of ASI Shehzad Ahmed, who was martyred, has been given a house worth Rs. 1.75 crore under the martyr’s quota. The house, fully equipped with all facilities, was purchased for the family according to their preference on Daska Road in Sialkot. Spokesperson for Punjab Police shared that ASI Shehzad Ahmed embraced martyrdom on August 16 of last year. The martyred officer's family includes his wife, two sons, and three daughters. Through the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab Government released funds for the family’s house.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to the immortal sacrifice of Shehzad Ahmed. IG Punjab said that ASI Shehzad Ahmed laid down his life while protecting the lives and properties of the citizens, without any regard for his own safety. Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifice of its brave son. IG Punjab also mentioned that Punjab Police is the custodian of over 1,650 brave martyrs, and every possible effort is being made to meet the needs of their families.
