IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Continuously Active in the Field, Visits Inter-Provincial Border Check Posts, Camps, and Police Stations.
IG Punjab visited the advanced police camps in the Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan. Punjab Police Spokesperson.
During police operations in the Kacha area, 72 dangerous dacoits were killed, 45 were injured, and 164 dangerous dacoits were arrested in intelligence-based operations, IG Punjab.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, remains continuously engaged in the field. In this regard, IG Punjab visited inter-provincial border check posts, camps, and police stations. IG Punjab arrived at the advanced police camps in the Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan. Dr. Usman Anwar met with the personnel stationed at the police camps. Additional IG CTD Wasim Ahmed Sial, RPO Bahawalpur Rai Babar Saeed, DPO Rahim Yar Khan Rizwan Umar Gondal, along with senior officers, were also present. IG Punjab interacted with the police personnel, greeted them, boosted their morale, and praised their efforts.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that a permanent police force has been deployed to maintain lasting peace in the Kacha area. He mentioned that Punjab Police has achieved remarkable successes against the dacoits and miscreants in the region. He further stated that during police operations in the Kacha area, 72 dangerous dacoits were killed, 45 were injured, and 164 dangerous dacoits were arrested as a result of intelligence-based operations.
Dr. Usman Anwar also highlighted that during encounters with dacoits and miscreants in Kacha, 19 Punjab Police personnel sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, while 29 severely injured personnel were declared Ghazis.
IG Punjab said that, with the support of the Punjab Government, construction work to secure and strengthen all police camps in Kacha is progressing rapidly. He also confirmed the approval of the Hard Area Risk Allowance for personnel stationed in Kacha. He added that the brave officers of Punjab Police, who are performing their duties in the most challenging conditions of the dangerous Kacha area, are the true heroes of the force. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the elimination of criminals in Kacha is the mission of Punjab Police, and the force is determined to completely rid Kacha of dacoits.
