IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar actively working for the Welfare of Police Martyrs' Families.

Another police martyr’s family has been provided with a house in recognition of his supreme sacrifice.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is continuously active in ensuring the best welfare for the families of police martyrs. As part of ongoing initiatives, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has provided a house to the family of another police officer who sacrificed his life in the line of duty. The family of Constable Muhammad Irshad Shaheed has been given a house worth 13.5 million rupees under the martyr's quota. A house in their preferred location, Khwaja Town Rahim Yar Khan, was purchased and provided to the family. Constable Muhammad Irshad embraced martyrdom in November last year. The martyr’s family includes his wife, three sons, and one daughter. On the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab government released the funds for the martyr’s family's house. Dr. Usman Anwar paid a rich tribute to Constable Muhammad Irshad Shaheed's eternal sacrifice. IG Punjab said that he bravely confronted dangerous criminals without considering his own life. Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifice of its brave son. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that the Punjab Police is the custodian of more than 1,650 brave martyrs like Constable Muhammad Irshad, and every possible effort is being made to ensure the best welfare for their families.
