Punjab Police collaborated with the Private Welfare Medical Organization to organise a cardiovascular screening camp at Central Police Office.

Under the guidance of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, a cardiovascular screening camp was organized at the Central Police Office in collaboration with a private medical welfare organization. The camp provided blood pressure and sugar screening, as well as consultations for police employees. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited the cardiovascular screening camp, reviewed the heart screenings of police personnel, and discussed the screening process with doctors and paramedical staff. The private welfare organization also provided medications to the police personnel at the camp.
Dr. Usman Anwar said that after diagnosing heart diseases, treatment will be provided to the employees. He further mentioned that this year, 25 crore 25 lakh rupees have been utilised for the treatment of employees facing health issues. Financial assistance is being provided to employees to address their financial difficulties through the Police Welfare Fund and departmental welfare resources. Dr. Usman Anwar added that several memorandum of understanding (MOUs) have been signed with various hospitals and organizations for the health and welfare of police employees, and further steps in this regard will continue. IG Punjab also presented the book "Thanay Punjab De," based on upgradation of Punjab Police stations, to the president of the welfare organization, Shoaib Sarwar Hashmi. DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, DIG IAB Amin Bukhari, AIG Ammara Shirazi, and senior officers were also present at the camp.
