Under the leadership of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Bhobtiyan Scheme project was completed in 2023, SSP Admin Lahore.
SSP Admin Lahore Atif Nazir has said that 2023 will be remembered as an exemplary year in the history of police employees' welfare. In a special video message during the visit to Bhobtiyan Flats, SSP Admin Lahore Atif Nazir stated that the Bhobtiyan Flats Scheme for police employees of Grade 01 to 10 was initiated 16 years ago in 2008. The Bhobtiyan Flats Scheme, spread over 54 kanals of land, was to have 90 flats, but even after 15 years, the construction of the flats could not be completed. SSP Admin Lahore Atif Nazir said that under the leadership of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Bhobtiyan Scheme project was completed in 2023. In the fiscal year 2023-24, with additional funding, the construction of Bhobtiyan Flats was restarted and completed in a record time. SSP Atif Nazir said that the Bhobtiyan Flats Scheme is the valuable gift from IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar for the employees of Lahore Police. The Bhobtiyan Flats Scheme ensures the provision of basic facilities for employees. The Bhobtiyan Scheme includes facilities such as a mosque, cafeteria, parks, shuttle bus service for employees and their families. The Bhobtiyan residential scheme also ensures adequate security and a water filtration plant. Since the Bhobtiyan Flats are located about 1.5 kilometers from Raiwind Road, an approach road has also been constructed.
