Over 1.15 million rupees were given for medical expenses of constables suffering from various serious ailments.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to the best health welfare for police employees. In this regard, more than 1.15 million rupees have been given for the medical expenses of constables suffering from various serious health conditions. According to details, Constable Naveed Anjum of Bahawalpur Police was paid more than 615,000 rupees for medical expenses. Constable Naveed Anjum had received treatment at Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Rahim Yar Khan. Constable Kashan Mehdi of Jhelum Police was paid over 550,000 rupees for medical expenses. Constable Kashan Mehdi had received treatment for a brain tumour and other ailments at DHQ Jhelum. Medical expenses for both constables were covered from the Punjab Police Welfare Fund.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar instructed the continued efforts for the health welfare of the police force. He said that no employee or their family members facing health issues will be left alone, Punjab Police will continue to provide all possible support to its employees from its resources.
