Punjab Police Rahim Yar Khan, during an operation in the Kacha area, safely recovered six hostages, including three minority individuals, in two major actions. According to the reports two dacoits were injured during the operation, including Gora Imrani, a notorious dacoit from Kacha, who has a bounty of Rs. 10 million on his head. Punjab Police spokesperson shared details that a few days ago, armed criminals abducted Abdul Shakoor, Zahoor Ahmed, and Abid, who were irrigating their crops in the area of Bhong Police Station. Additionally, minority youth Manwar gee was abducted a few days ago from Basti Kalwar. Acting on the directions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal deployed police teams to ensure the safe recovery of the hostages. Last night, police, acting on intelligence reports regarding the presence of criminals in the border area of Kacha near Sindh Kashmore, launched an effective operation in the targeted area. Led by DSP Bhong Saeed Ahmed, SHO Bhong Police Station, SHO Ahmed Pur Lama Rana Ramzan, CIA teams, and Elite teams with heavy contingents, the operation resulted in the safe recovery of the four hostages, who were found tied hand and foot. The criminals, taking advantage of the darkness, fled towards Sindh as the police tightened the noose around them.
In another recent operation, responding to the abduction of three minority father-and-son individuals from the Bhong area, DSP Bhong Saeed Ahmed led a heavy contingent of police in pursuit of the criminals. The police party surrounded the dacoits in Kacha Sonmiani, resulting in an exchange of fire between the armed dacoits and the police. During this encounter, reports indicate that two dacoits were injured, including the dangerous Kacha dacoit Gora Imrani, who carries a bounty of Rs. 10 million on his head. Demonstrating professional skill and strategy, Punjab Police successfully recovered the minority father and sons unharmed. The armed dacoits abandoned three motorcycles used during the operation and fled. DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal commended the police teams for their successful operations and directed them to trace the fleeing criminals. However, the police operation remains ongoing.
