IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring best possible measures for early recovery of Hearing-Impaired Children of Police Personnel
Funds of 1.8 million Rupees Released for the Purchase of Modern Cochlear Implant accessories for 3 Affected Children
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is taking all possible measures to ensure the best medical care for police officers, personnel, and their families, as well as for children suffering from serious illnesses. In this regard, IG Punjab has released funds for the purchase of modern cochlear implant accessories for the treatment and recovery of three hearing-impaired children. According to the details, that 750,000 rupees has been released for the provision of cochlear implants accessories to the 6-year-old son Salar Ahmed of Head Constable Atif Mehmood. Similarly, over 750,000 rupees have been allocated for the 8-year-old son of Constable Khurram Shehzad, Usman Shehzad, for the provision of modern cochlear accessories. A total of 300,000 rupees have been allocated for the 3-year-old son of Sub-Inspector Mansab Munir, Samiullah Dildar, for the same purpose. These funds will enable the children to receive modern hearing aids, which will help resolve their hearing issues and enable them to lead a normal life.
IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, said that Punjab Police is effectively utilising its welfare fund for better treatment and cochlear implant surgeries on the children of over 20 police personnel serving in various districts. After successful surgeries, the children are recovering rapidly and moving towards normal lives. Dr. Usman Anwar also mentioned that under the " Hamary Phool Project," monthly health stipends are being provided to children suffering from thalassemia and cerebral palsy, which has alleviated the financial burdens of their parents. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the police force is one family, and further measures will continue to be taken to ensure the best health & education welfare for the children of police personnel.
