Mission to Ensure the Best Health Welfare for Police Personnel and Their Families

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Releases Additional Funds for Medical Expenses for police force and their families Facing Health Challenges.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is ensuring best health welfare of police employees and their families. IGP Punjab said that provision of best possible health facilities to force is top priority, under "Hamaray Phoo Project," Welfare Branch of Punjab Police is not only providing regular medical facilities for the children of police employees but also offering comprehensive medical assistance for the treatment of various illnesses both employees and their families. In these ongoing measures, IG Punjab has released additional funds to support police personnel facing serious health challenges. These funds are being provided after a thorough review by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. ASI Muzammil Hussain has been granted 250,000 rupees to cover his wife’s medical treatment. Similarly, ASI Amir Bilal has been provided 150,000 rupees for his wife’s breast cancer treatment, while Head Constable Mohammad Adil, from Okara, has been given 150,000 rupees to help with his wife’s tumor treatment. PHP Constable Zafar Khan has received 125,000 rupees to cover his medical expenses, and both Constable Waris Ali and Driver Constable Mirza Akhtar Rafiq have been granted 100,000 rupees each for their treatment. Additionally, ASI Shahid Manzoor and Head Constable Hamad Rehman have been provided nearly 200,000 rupees to assist with their medical expenses. Senior Clerk Tahir Riaz and Head Constable Raja Zafar Ullah Khan have also received approximately 200,000 rupees for their treatment.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar reiterated that the health welfare of police personnel remains a top priority. He assured that further support will continue to be provided in the future. Additionally, he directed the Regional Police Officers (RPOs) and District Police Officers (DPOs) to expedite measures for the health welfare of their teams at their level.
