Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is determined and continuously engaged in the best healrh welfare to police employees and their families. In the ongoing measures, IG Punjab has released another 24 lakh rupees for health expenses of police force. Spokesman Punjab Police said that sub-inspector Muhammad Mehdi of Mandi Bahauddin received Rs 09 lakh for major leg surgery, Lady Constable Sonia Akhtar of Multan was given Rs 03 lakh for medical expenses. Lady Constable Naheed Saleem from Lahore also received Rs. 03 lakh for medical expenses. DSP Raja Fayaz ul Haq was given two and a half lakh rupees for the treatment of his wife. Sargodha Police's sub-inspector Muhammad Yaqoob was given Rs. 02 lakh for the treatment of his leg. Sub-inspector Shahid Mahmood Khan and sanitary worker Syed Zulfiqar Ali were given Rs. 01 lakh each for medical expenses. Retired Inspector Manzoor Ahmad and Sub-Inspector Noor Khan were given Rs. 01 lakh each for medical expenses. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that no police employee suffering from medical problems will be left alone, apart from financial assistance, best possible cooperation is also being provided to employees through MOUs inked with various hospitals.
