Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed and determined for the best health welfare of police employees and their families. On the direction of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, full support and cooperation is going on for the medical financial assistance of the police employees, in continuation of which the IG police has released another 18 lakh rupees to police employees and their families for treatment of serious diseases. According to the details, Telecommunication Punjab constable Shakeel Ahmed was given 05 lakh rupees for treatment. ASI Imran Khalid released Rs. 02 lakh for open heart surgery, wife of ASI Babar Hayat and sub-inspector Zahoor Ahmed. received 01 lakh each for medical expenses. The families of Head Constable Abdul latif Khan and Constable Lutfullah were given Rs. 01 lakh each for medical expenses, Head Constable Muhammad Yousaf and Driver Constable Muhammad Arshad received Rs. 01 lakh each for medical expenses. Constable Saeed Ahmad and Constable Muhammad Yasin's wife were given Rs. 01 lakh each for medical expenses, Constable Muhammad Shoaib from Multan received 01 lakh rupees for psychological treatment while sub-inspector Abdul Sattar, constable Riaz Hussain and constable Muhammad Iqbal received 1.5 lakh rupees for various diseases. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar released the above mentioned funds after the scrutiny of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that welfare of police employees suffering from health problems is the first priority,  all possible support will continue to be given to the affected employees from police welfare fund and welfare resources.
