BAHAWALPUR: Three persons were booked for injuring legs of buffalo and making it crippled at Chah Jhoke Roshan near village Tibbi Waddan in the limits of Saddar Kahror Pucca Police Station in Lodhran district. According to police spokesperson Khan Bahadur, they registered a case on complaint of buffalo owner Muhammad Yar against Muhammad Ijaz, Khizer Hayat and Muhammad Fayyaz from whom two were arrested. In his complaint, Yar Muhammad alleged that his Neeli Ravi buffalo broke away from his cattle pen and entered the maize fields of his three neighbours. They attacked the animal with axes and iron rods, leaving it crippled. SHO Imran Gujjar arrested two of the suspects while Muhammad Fayyaz escaped. Muhammad Yar has sought assistance of veterinary doctors for the crippled buffalo’s treatment and shifting it to the veterinary hospital.
