Punjab Police ensuring best health welfare of police officials and their families.

IG Punjab gave more funds for medical expenses of police personnel facing health issues.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, continues to take priority measures for the health welfare of police personnel and their families. As part of these ongoing efforts, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released additional funds for medical expenses to employees serving in Lahore and various districts.  According to the details, Constable Muhammad Jamshed of Lahore Police was provided with Rs. 250,000 for kidney treatment. Constable Amir Bashir of Rawalpindi received Rs. 250,000 for cancer and hepatitis treatment. Sub-Inspector Zulfiqar Ali from Okara was granted Rs. 200,000 for heart treatment. Special Branch sanitary worker Suneel and ASI Muhammad Riaz from Okara were each given Rs. 100,000 for medical expenses.  Constable Fayaz Ahmad from DG Khan and Constable Asif Ali from Okara were also provided Rs. 100,000 each for medical expenses. Similarly, Constable Hammad Haider from Gujrat and Head Constable Shahid Imran from Mandi Bahauddin received Rs. 100,000 each for their treatment. An additional amount of over Rs. 200,000 was disbursed to four other police personnel suffering from various ailments.  The funds were released by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar following scrutiny by the Welfare Branch. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that every possible support and further measures will be undertaken for the health and welfare of police personnel and their families.
